Privacy Policy
1. Overview
CamSign is a local document scanning and signing application. It does not require an account and does not automatically upload your documents or reusable signing assets. This policy explains the information handled by CamSign and the Apple services it uses.
2. Content stored on your device
Imported PDFs, scanned pages, photos, document edits, signatures, initials, and stamps are stored in CamSign’s local app container. This content remains there until you delete it through the relevant document or asset library, or remove the app from your device.
3. Permissions
CamSign requests camera access only after you choose to scan a document. Photos and files are selected through Apple’s system pickers. CamSign does not request contacts, location, microphone, notifications, advertising tracking, or access to your full payment-card details.
4. Sharing and export
A document leaves CamSign only after you choose Share, Save to Files, Print, or another export destination. The Apple service or third-party app you select then processes the exported copy under its own terms and privacy practices. CamSign does not include your document or signing content in StoreKit subscription requests.
5. Diagnostics
CamSign may write local operational logs to diagnose import and storage failures. These logs exclude document contents, signature images, file names, and external file paths. CamSign contains no advertising trackers, third-party analytics SDK, or automatic cloud synchronization.
6. Purchases and subscription status
CamSign uses Apple StoreKit to load, offer, purchase, and restore CamSign Premium subscriptions. StoreKit communicates with Apple and provides localized product information and signed transaction or entitlement information, such as the product identifier, purchase status, renewal period, expiration, revocation, upgrade status, and introductory-offer eligibility.
CamSign uses this information only on the device to display the applicable offer and unlock Premium features. CamSign does not receive your full payment-card details, does not send transaction receipts or entitlement information to a CamSign server, and does not retain a separate server-side copy of purchase history.
Apple processes and retains purchase information under Apple’s terms and privacy practices. You can manage subscriptions through your Apple Account. Restoring a purchase asks Apple to synchronize active entitlements and creates no new charge.
7. Retention and deletion
Delete an individual document from Files and delete reusable signatures, initials, or stamps from their libraries. Removing CamSign removes content in its local app container, subject to Apple’s device backup and restoration behavior. Apple purchase history is managed through your Apple Account and Apple’s retention practices.
8. Children
CamSign is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a CamSign account or online service because the app provides no such account or service.
9. Security and third parties
CamSign relies on Apple platform protections for its app container and on Apple system services selected by you. No method of electronic storage is guaranteed to be perfectly secure. Third-party destinations you choose are governed by their own privacy practices.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated when CamSign’s behavior or legal requirements change. Material changes will be identified by an updated effective date.
